Breast Implants come in a range of sizes measured volumetrically in cubic centimeters (cc’s). Rather than focusing on a cup size, which varies between bra brands and styles, patients are advised to focus on the look they are trying to achieve.

After undergoing outpatient breast augmentation surgery, the recovery process unfolds gradually, with results becoming more apparent over 3 to 6 months, contingent on the extent of liposuction; some benefits emerge immediately.
Pain levels differ based on the targeted areas and liposuction degree, often requiring oral pain medication for 3 to 5 days. Notably, no drains are used in this procedure, and all sutures are dissolvable.
Daily activities remain unrestricted, with walking encouraged, and showering is permissible the day after surgery.
However, lifting more than 10 pounds should be avoided for two weeks, and driving while on narcotic pain medication is allowed. Moderate exercise becomes an option at the two-week mark, but strenuous activities and heavy lifting should be postponed for four weeks.
The duration of time off work may range from 2 to 7 days, contingent on the procedure’s extent. Regular follow-up appointments at 1 week, 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months are scheduled as needed for comprehensive post-operative care.
