How It Works

Sculptra is an injectable liquid form of lactic acid: something your body naturally produces after exercise. When injected strategically into the skin, it activates collagen growth, causing the tissues that support your skin to grow gradually in volume. As new, healthy collagen builds in the area, the lactic acid gradually dissipates to make room for it. Because this treatment causes your skin to rebuild from the inside out, it doesn’t have immediate results. Instead, expect results from four to six months after your treatment.

How long do the results last?
