A Surgeon Shaped by Elite Institutions
A Houston native, Dr. Jalalabadi was immersed in the world of medicine from an early age, growing up in the shadow of the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world. It was during his teenage years that he felt the calling to become a surgeon, drawn to the ability to change lives through skilled, meticulous work. Dr. Jalalabadi pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning degrees in both business and biology at the prestigious McCombs School of Business.
He then returned to Houston to attend the University of Texas – Houston Medical School, where he refined his surgical acumen and deepened his understanding of human anatomy. His exceptional abilities earned him acceptance into one of the most competitive and prestigious plastic surgery residency programs in the country: Baylor College of Medicine—home of the silicone breast implant. There, he trained under the rigorous mentorship of globally recognized plastic surgeons and honed his expertise at renowned institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children’s Hospital, and Houston Methodist Hospital.
